What was the best compliment you’ve received?

So I’ve been thinking about this all day.

I came to the conclusion that we neither give nor receive compliments often enough.

I try to be grateful and happy with what I’ve achieved so probably don’t pay enough attention to compliments I receive. My philosophy is don’t expect a complement and you won’t be disappointed when you don’t get one.

I also think it’s often better to reflect on what you did, what went well and what needs to be improved, than rely on compliments.

THEN, I look back at an email yesterday from a parent…. Thank you for all of your support to the team yesterday. It certainly was a great experience for my son.

I need to pay more attention to compliments and see them for for what they are.
