Based on my trip to the office this morning, I nominate Anti-lock brakes!
I needed a little inspiration for my blog post and was thinking about all the amazing inventions from the last 60 odd years.
A car came onto the roundabout in front of me at a much faster speed than I expected so I had to slam on the anchors.
Not only was it a little icy, but the gritting lorries must have been driving around with empty lorries last night as there was no sign of grit anywhere.
Anyway, even though I’m not particularly religious, it’s never a bad thing to give a little nod of appreciation and thank God!
There but for the grace of God (and anti-lock brakes) go I.
