Don’t rush me – Let me Think About it!

Daily writing prompt
What are your favorite emojis?

I can’t say that I have a favourite emoji, but the one I use the most is:

That’s probably because I use WhatsApp a lot, and it’s a quick way to send an affirmative response – yes – I understand – I agree – I will. It’s also part of a few emojis that can be accessed quickly so it’s easy to use. Beware of accidentally selecting a different emoji to the one intended – e.g. smiling or laughing at a problem or tragedy.

My favourite emoji – I think I would need to invent it – would be a brain with a clock. This could be used at the end of a question to say, take some time to think about it before you reply. Or it could be used to reply to something as I need some time to think about it.

It would combine a brain and a clock – something like this.

One of today’s problems, we are pretty much always connected to some form of communication device. Decisions made in haste can always be regretted at our leisure!

    1. I agree, but I don’t like falling out with my mum. She messages me a question then an hour later messages me to say – she knows I’ve read it so why didn’t I answer. It’s normally because I have to check with 3 other people first which takes ages!
