The risk I never saw.

I could have studied harder but I might have lost my friends.

I could have gone to University but I might have failed.

I could have left my home town but I might have been lonely.

I could have climbed that mountain but I might have fallen.

I could have been in love, but been broken hearted.

I could have sailed the oceans, and drowned.

I could have travelled, but what if I got lost.

Instead, I chose to play it safe.

Then I ran out of time and I died all the same.
